Nihonfren covers all JLPT levels from N5 (beginner) through N1 (advanced). You can study hiragana, katakana, kanji, vocabulary, and grammar appropriate for each level.
Yes. Nihonfren is fully bilingual in English and Bangla. One setting switches both the app interface and the learning content at once, and the Bangla translation is complete across all five JLPT levels: 41,090 translated units in total, covering kanji meanings, vocabulary, example sentences, memory tips, grammar, kana and radicals. Bangla costs nothing extra, the same lessons are open to you in either language. On a new install the app follows your phone's language, so a Bangla phone starts in Bangla. You can change it any time in Settings under Learning Preferences.
Nihonfren uses a spaced repetition system (SRS) that adapts to your learning pace. Cards you struggle with are shown more frequently, while cards you know well are spaced further apart for optimal long-term retention.
Nihonfren includes hiragana and katakana with writing, sound-to-character, and character-to-sound exercises. Kanji cards cover writing, meaning, onyomi, and kunyomi readings. Vocabulary cards include Japanese-to-English, English-to-Japanese, and reading practice. Grammar covers meaning, form, and usage, and radicals break down the components that make up kanji.
Nihonfren Pro is our subscription that unlocks unlimited lessons, the full content library, and advanced stats, everything you need to reach your target JLPT level faster. You can start for free and upgrade to Pro anytime from within the app. Subscriptions are billed through your App Store or Google Play account.

Nihonfren supports offline study with locally cached card data. Your progress will sync back to the server when you reconnect to the internet.
You can reach our support team by emailing support@nihonfren.com. We typically respond within 24-48 hours. For urgent matters, please include 'URGENT' in your subject line.
You can delete your Nihonfren account directly from the app. To schedule account deletion, go to your Profile → About App page and select the account deletion option. Your account will be scheduled for deletion and will be permanently removed after 30 days.
If you need to delete your account immediately without waiting for the 30-day period, please send an email from the email address associated with your Nihonfren account to support@nihonfren.com with the subject line: Request for immediate account deletion. For security purposes, we can only process immediate deletion requests sent from the email address linked to your account.
